Archipelago Igloos offers unique eco-friendly accommodation experience alongside fascinating natural attractions. We are located in the archipelago surrounding Helsinki. Summer season our floating hotel unit is anchored at the bay between Vallisaari and Kuninkaansaari.

Archipelago Igloos is a luxurious suite for two. The floating igloo is equipped for a comfortable and adventurous holiday. The biggest feature is the unobstructed floor to ceiling view of the sky and the outside.
The glass igloo is equipped with a double bed, a kitchen, a foldable dining table, food storage and toilet. On the terrace you have a gas grill, swimming ladder and a rowing boat at your disposal. You also have access to SUP boards and kick bikes during summer season.
In wintertime kick sleds, snowshoes and fishing gear is included. For an extra fee you can join us on a snowmobile tour in the archipelago or try ice floating with survival suites.
Explore the nature
The location of our floating glass igloos change during the year. When the sea freezes in wintertime we move our location east of Helsinki to Sipoo archipelago where the ice gets thick and safe.
Location of the floating hotel
During summer you can find the igloos at the bay between Vallisaari and Kuninkaansaari islands, only 15 minutes from Helsinki citycenter. Transport to the island either by public ferry or private boat transfer from the citycenter.
During winter the glass igloos are located in Sipoo archipelago, just 30 minutes by car from the city centre. The igloo is located 300 meters from the mainland on the south side of an island. Meetingpoint: Our snowmobile base at Katrineholmintie 96. From the mainland you can either walk or take the kick sleds out to the igloo.

We can do the private boat pickup as a longer sightseeing tour for an extra fee.
Summertime meeting point for the private boat transfer out to the Igloo is at Katajanokka guest harbour, Kanavaranta 4, Helsinki.
The public ferry leaves from Lyypekinlaituri behind the Old Market Hall.
